The problem with that model is that most banks and credit unions only have one, sometimes two products. That is what we call the one size fits all concept. The one size fits all model is dreadfully outdated. We designed The Home Equity Shop to offer choices to fit a wide range of customer financial needs. To do this we partner with multiple home equity lenders. Together we can offer a complete menu of home equity products to help a wide variety of homeowners. 

The Home Equity Shop concept was developed by an industry veteran who worked for some of the largest banks in the country. After years of originating home equity products and studying the needs of homeowners he noticed that a large segment of the home equity market was underserved. Clients with fair credit and/or smaller lending needs are often shunned by major banks. High credit score and loan amount requirements alienate millions of qualified borrowers every year. 

In addition to making home equity products available to more homeowners our goal is to educate the consumer. A person’s home equity can be the most powerful financial tool that they have. Diligent use of this tool can make a major impact on the financial well being of the average homeowner.  For some individuals the stored equity in their homes can help them elevate the overall financial status.
